Throughout Q4 2022, the top 5 travel and local apps in Costa Rica demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Data sourced from Sensor Tower offers a closer look at these metrics.

Airbnb saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 3.2K and peaking at 5.8K in the last week of December. Weekly active users also increased steadily, reaching approximately 44.2K by the end of the quarter from 36.2K at the start.

Alaska Airlines - Travel experienced a sharp decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 11.3K at the beginning of October to just 56 by the end of December. Active users followed a similar downward trend, falling from 18K to about 4.9K during the same period.

Google Earth maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 2K with a peak of 4.3K in late November. Active users saw a slight decline from 16.2K to 17.1K throughout the quarter.
